The Kingfisher Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced ingredients (within 100 miles of the restaurant) and creating delicious and healthy dishes. Our menu includes many classic dishes with a West Coast & Kootenay inspired twist. Below are seven of our favourite dishes for you to enjoy during your next stay!
- Classic Benny
Two Poached Eggs, Honey Smoked Ham, Hollandaise, Hash Browns
The perfect breakfast dish to start off your day! The honey ham is complimented by the tangy house-made Hollandaise Sauce and then topped with a poached egg. The Hash Browns at the Kingfisher Restaurant are roasted to the perfect balance of soft & crunchy with delicious seasoning.
- Margherita Flatbread
House Rolled Flat Bread, Marinara Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Goat Cheese, Fresh Herbs
This flatbread is all about the dough! It is light and crisp, the perfect base for the fresh ingredients baked on top. The marinara sauce, cheese blend and basil picked from Chef’s garden, make this dish a light and tasty lunch option.
- Caprese Bruschetta
Heirloom Tomatoes, Buffalo Mozzarella, Basil and Arugula Pistou, Grilled Bianca Flat Bread
Fresh Tomatoes, cheese, herbs & bread – what’s not to love? This twist on traditional bruschetta is the ideal way to start your meal with the heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella piled high on housemade flatbread. Make sure to get a good swipe of the basil & arugula pistou with each bite for a fresh herb kick to this delicious starter.
- Beef Bavette
Fingerling Potatoes, Tomato Confit, Watercress Salad, Asparagus, Chimichurri
This incredible cut of meat (similar to a flank steak) is perfectly cooked at a medium rare and cut against the grain for optimal tenderness. Served with confit tomatoes, fresh watercress salad & asparagus along with a green chimichurri sauce it pairs perfectly with a robust red wine.

San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Fresh Basil, Grana Padano, Garlic Baguette
Pasta lovers, this is the dish for you! The pappardelle noodles, like a wider fettuccini, are a great base for the homestyle San Marzano tomato sauce. The vibrant basil gives the dish the perfect pop of freshness and is finished off with a crispy warm garlic baguette.
- Charred Japanese Eggplant
Spiced Tomato Sauce, Green Lentils, Tahini Sauce
This is the perfect vegan & gluten free comfort dish. The dark purple Japanese Eggplant is gently charred and then smothered in spiced tomato and tahini sauces. The green lentils and fresh green veggies add the perfect textures to complete this entrée dish.
